Be the change, persist!

 

A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence. Jim Watkins is acknowledged for this empowering quote. Meditate on it. How strong is your will-power today? You can actually build your will-power while you strengthen your muscles. The word-picture above could change your life!

Pictured are a few of the 35 strong group of Club Physical members who tackled the rapids with River Rats. But that’s not the point. The point is that YOU might have begun 2019 with a dream.  Quite possibly that dream includes strength, fitness, energy-gain, health and weight-loss. The questions are, just 4 weeks into 2019, are you honouring the promise you made to yourself? Are you proud of your progress to date? Are you changing? Are you WINNING?

Don’t expect it to be easy. If you expect hurdles, it will be easier for you to avoid being taken by surprise when they come.

A famous 2,000 year old quote states, ‘Be glad when challenges come upon you. Challenges develop persistence. Persistence develops character. And character develops hope.

‘Hoping’ that the best is still to come will help you generate a positive and progressive mental attitude. Be brave and courageous this year. When the next hurdle comes along, BE GLAD. This is an opportunity for you to muscle-up your ‘persistence’. Get stuck in and Go for it my friend!
